January 29 Got Jacked – Got Even

“Getting even is one reason for writing.” William H. Gass

Definition

jacked:

1. Verb: Past tense

Origin from ‘hijacked’: as the past-progressive meaning stolen in a violent fashion; or to be taken advantage of.
Commonly refers to robbery, theft, misuse, seizure, exploit, harm.

This is going to be a short post: Today we got jacked (not a First). But we jacked the jackers (definitely a First). So it’s all good. The End.

Then we went to the parade. Laissez le bon temps rouler!
