March 29 Learning Key Phrases In Indonesian

Today my First was to learn some key phrases in Indonesian. Watch me here:

 

If you want to learn, here are a few words and phrases to start with. It’s probably a good idea to hear it pronounced through an online translator that will speak the word for you. There are some tricky ones that look like they would be pronounced differently based on  their spelling. I think this language pronounces the letter “c” like a “t” for instance. Good luck with your Indonesian!

Good – Baik

Very good – Sangat bagus

Delicious – Lezat

Thank you – Terima kasih

No thank you – Tidak terima kasih

Good morning – Selamat pagi

Good evening – Selamat malam

No money – Tidak ada duang

Pretty – Cantik

Bathroom – Kamar mandi

Food – Makanan

Do you speak English? – Apakah anda berbicara bahasa Ingrris?

My name is – Nama saya

Where can I find a taxi? – Di mana saya bisa menemukan taksi?

How much does this cost? – Berapa biaya ini?

Do you take credit cards? – Apaka kamu megambil kartu kredit?

Can you help me? – Bisakah kamu membantuku?

I’m lost – Saya tersesat

Please call the police – Hubungi polisi

I need a doctor – Saya perlu dokter
