October 13 Plank Hold Challenge

“If you think a minute goes by really fast, you’ve never done the plank.”

A plank is a full body exercise. It engages your core, glutes, hamstrings, back, arms, mind, everything. I tried the plank challenge today. After watching my video, I realize that I should have opted for the forearm plank. I wasn’t balanced in my fully extended plank and my back started to droop – which means I was no longer in a plank – live and learn. Maybe I will have a “do-over” in a forearm plank. But for now, this is it. Two and a half minutes. I can work on it and get myself up to three full minutes, then maybe a full song.

UPDATE: I am nothing, if not consistent, ladies and gents. In the forearm plank, I got about two and a half minutes as well. So my prediction was incorrect that I could hold a forearm plank for longer. This ain’t easy, ya’ll, but it can be worked on for improvement. Yay!
