Who thought of this wonderful event? Petal It Forward is an event sponsored by the Society of American Florists. Flowers are handed out to anyone and everyone on the street. I was given two bouquets, one to keep and one to give away. I had never heard of this until today and it was lovely. You really do feel happy when you give and receive. I handed out my flowers to the women and men in my office. I think it made most people happy to get a random flower from me but some people wanted no part of it. LOL.
